“Share. Share it all. Share it honestly…”

Sort Of Theatre is a collaborative contemporary theatre company formed by puppeteer Joni-Rae Carrack and theatre-maker Dana Segal in January 2013.
Sort Of Theatre is a contemporary collaborative performance company which puts the art of honest storytelling at its heart.
We are process based devising company. We savour in not only the devising journey we take with each project, but also in developing our autobiographical work through the personal journey we undertake.
We take on stories and subjects around identity and morality that make the biggest impact on us as as artists.

We use puppetry not to just illustrate these stories but to illuminate them. We use the power that puppetry has to bring a visceral emotive response to our audiences.

We don’t just tell stories because we want to, we tell them because they need to be told.
