Join Sort Of Theatre in an unique and intimate workshop, exploring how they brought their show Buttons (playing at the Space 19th-23rd August, 8pm) to life using storytelling and shadow puppetry.
Detailing their process “Feel. Write. Show. Tell. Share.” the workshop will teach you how to make their own shadow puppets, develop a theatrical piece with puppetry and explore the connection between your personal stories/history and puppetry.

We’re Sort of Theatre, and we’re NOT at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August.
We’re doing things a bit differently this summer. We’re going to be performing our show Buttons at The Space Arts Centre on the Isle of Dogs this August, and we want you to be there.
Buttons is a show about a lot of things. It’s a show about memory, it’s a show about family, it’s a show about war… it’s a show about the Holocaust.
Buttons is about our trip to Auschwitz and the stories we discovered along the way, using puppetry, music and theatre to bring them to life – and we’d love it if you (And anyone you want to bring with you!) joined us to share in those stories.
